Our client is seeking an Engineering Director/ V.P. to play a key role in our future.
Working as part of our multi-disciplinary executive team, you will lead electronic and mechanical engineers in the development of instrumentation and electronics. You will mix a high level of technical expertise with proven leadership skills and experience in rapid prototyping and agile product development. You should be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, agile and dynamic environment.
It is essential that you can demonstrate experience of working in a small, informal but dynamic company culture - any experience of developing innovative systems from white-board to product launch within such a culture will be viewed favourably. You may also, for example, have a technical background in the development of high-performance electronic sensing systems such as radar, computing, ASICs and signal processing/ telecoms and high-throughput laboratory instrumentation.
The Company is well funded; they have raised more than £30 million and have strong strategic partnerships in place including a robust IP portfolio. There is a team of 60 engineers, scientists and informaticians is based at the Oxford Science Park.
