Profile:
Do you have Chemical Industry experience? Do you hold basic knowledge of regulations and are you looking for a step into compliance?
An opportunity has arisen for a Regulatory Officer within a speciality chemicals company. Your role will involve assisting in the monitoring of current world-wide HSE regulations, keeping up to speed with new developments and changes. You will ensure products are labelled correctly, checking H&S of raw materials and assisting in classification of new products. You will also get involved in writing safety data sheets and dealing with enquires.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of BSc or equivalent in a science subject, preferably chemistry based. You will have an industry background in chemicals or coatings.
Most Importantly you will have knowledge of what a regulatory role entails and have some knowledge of REACH and GHS.
You will have sound IT skills and have experience of using MS, databases and ERP would be desirable.
