Location - Speke

The UK facility is based at Speke, is very easily accessed from Liverpool, Widnes, Warrington, Runcorn and St Helens and easily accessed from Chester and the Greater Manchester regions. This is due to an excellent network of motorways and ‘A’ roads.

The site is just off Speke Boulevard, A 561 and close to the M62 motorway: Junction 5 and 6, depending on your direction of approach.

Public transport routes serve the site. The nearest railway station is Hunts Cross, on the main line from Liverpool, followed by a 15 – 20 min. walk to site. There are several buses that pass within about 5 minutes of the site, along Speke Boulevard.

From Liverpool John Lennon Airport:

• Depart John Lennon airport grounds onto Speke Hall Avenue.
• Turn right on Speke Boulevard at the traffic light.
• Continue immediately past the Glaxo and Chiron Vaccines facilities and take the left slip road.
• Follow this road around; MedImmune UK Ltd is the second site on the left.
