SRG put me at ease about relocation

‘After a career break spent travelling I wanted to get back into my chosen profession in QC. There was a dearth of pharma-based jobs in Ireland around my home so I turned my attention to opportunities in the UK. I came across SRG when I was Google searching for jobs in the UK on the totaljobs website. I found an advertisement placed by SRG and applied. I was promptly contacted by Tanya and we had a nice chat about myself and what I was looking for. She was extremely informative about SRG and about the potential jobs which were on offer. She listened to and took everything on-board that I had to say and put me at ease in relation to relocating and obtaining a job in the UK - a daunting task for anyone, I’m sure you will agree. I had told Tanya I was planning to come to Manchester on a job hunt and around the dates I had planned she was able to fit me in for an appointment for a 1-2-1 with herself and my new account manager at SRG Manchester. At SRG Manchester I had what was a comfortable informal chat with my account manager and Tanya. It was a chance for them to get to know me and ensure I was the right fit for the job they had in mind. High level of assistance, care and professionalism

"After graduating with a degree in Microbiology, I was looking for a job on various job websites. SRG contacted me after having found my CV on one such site, and suggested a role that I might be interested in. The job was working as a Cryptosporidium analyst; initially a temporary (6 month) role, but with a strong possibility of the role later becoming permanent. My personal SRG Account Manager provided me with a lot of support, with information on the company and how to get to my interview, as well as good interview tips. He made contact before and after the interview, so that I could give him feedback on how it had gone. When an offer of employment was put through, my account manager handled the details for me, and made the process simple. After I started work, I met my account manager for the first time when he visited my laboratory. We also had contact electronically and when the end of the six months was approaching, he stepped in again to negotiate a permanent contract. I remain grateful to my SRG account manager for the high level of assistance, care and professionalism that he showed. It was really nice to have such a friendly face as a contact, hugely different to some agencies I'd encountered on my initial job hunt, who couldn't remember your name from one day to the next!
