Statistics and SAS Programming
Working in statistics and SAS programming you will gain in depth knowledge of the clinical trials process and being integral to it. You will be responsible for handling data and seeing the results of studies first hand, watching the safety and efficacy of a drug hoping one day, that very drug might be the next big “blockbuster” and you had a hand in saving peoples lives.

A realistic salary would depend whether your looking for work in the UK, EU or Switzerland. Salaries can vary anything from £40k - £100k+ plus excellent benefits, relocation, bonus, car etc.

To work in statistics you will need an MSc or PhD (or equiv) in Statistics with relevant experience working within a CRO, Pharmaceutical or Biotech organisation, have up to date knowledge in statistical methods, have excellent communication skills and be fluent in written and spoken English.
For SAS programming you will need a BSc or MSc in Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science or equivalent and significant experience using SAS in the analysis and reporting of pharmaceutical data. Working knowledge and expertise in SAS (including SAS Macro), working knowledge of database design/structures, good understanding of regulatory requirements (GCP, ICH). You must be fluent in oral and written English.
