Syngenta Locations

Our UK research, manufacturing and supply facilities play a vital role in the production of Syngenta products destined for many parts of the world.

Jealotts Hill Research Centre, Berkshire

Jealotts Hill is the largest of four centres of research excellence for Syngenta worldwide. Widely recognised as a leading centre for agricultural research, Jealotts Hill is part of a Syngenta international research and development network. The company's other major research sites are located in Switzerland and the US.

The ultimate aim of Syngenta is to find novel crop protection products or technologies which are safe, effective and form part of sustainable farming systems. Staff at Jealotts Hill work closely with colleagues in Basel, Stein and Munchwilen in Switzerland. Their work in the process from early screening to product launch and the life cycle management ensures that Syngenta products hold a premium position in agricultural markets worldwide.

This site employs approximately 700 people including Chemists, Biologists, Environmental Scientists, Patent Agents and Support Staff.
