HPLC Analyst (Immediate Start)

Are you an Analytical Chemist with experience in HPLC/GC within industry? Are you interested in joining an innovative start-up with a promising and exiting future ahead? Are you available at short notice for a temporary opportunity in the Essex area.
My client works on the production of liquid based consumer goods, and subsequent analytical quality testing. My client is a small yet innovative company within their field, going from strength to strength and undergoing further expansion.
Following massive growth and success over the past few years, my client is again experiencing more growth and expanding their analytical services. As a result they now seek a Analyst with good experience to drive forward this area of analysis.
As an Analyst, the main responsibilities would be:
- Routine analysis of raw materials and finished products using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
- HPLC/GC Sample analysis
- Sample preparation
- Where required; method development, validation or optimisation.
- Routine monitoring of equipment and routine maintenance.
In order to be considered as a candidate for this position, you should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Educated to degree level in an area of Chemistry
- Good industry experience in the use of HPLC and/or GC.
- Method Development and/or validation (Desired)
- Very comfortable in using HPLC/GC.
To be considered for this role, it is essential that candidates can interview in the Essex area at very short notice, and also must be able to start in the role immediately.
