Job Title: Scientific Associate II

Employment type: Temporary expected to run until 22nd December but could be extended

Salary: £25K-£27K

Location: Liverpool

SRG are working with a leading global biopharmaceutical company who are looking for a Scientific Associate to join their process sciences team in Liverpool due to a high volume of work.

Role:

  • Leading the design, delivery and reporting of experimental work to meet project timelines.
  • Training others in procedures or equipment.
  • Maintaining exemplary standard within the laboratory or production facility.
  • Identify and deliver ideas to enhance capabilities of process sciences.
  • Support Senior Scientists or project leads on delivery of work packages and projects.

Requirements:

  • Experience with cell culture
  • Knowledge of cGMP
  • Good aseptic practice
  • Eligibility to work in the UK

The ideal Scientific Associate will be hold a PhD/MSc or BSc with industrial experience or equivalent in Biotechnology/Biomedical sciences or a related subject and must have appropriate skills together with underpinning knowledge. Previous experience of cGMP, cell culture and upstream processes will be highly advantageous.
