Due to continued success and growth, a unique opportunity has arisen to work as a Senior Scientist within their specialist Analytical laboratory. Senior Scientists in the labs have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art laboratory technology, including instruments and equipment.The role of Senior Scientist is to routinely act as the project leader on multiple projects and interact with clients, review and evaluate data, write reports and protocols. Senior Scientists are expected to follow validated or experimental analytical procedures with occasional direct supervision from a group leader.Key responsibilities:Provide full analytical testing support in accordance with cGMP practices against strict timelines to successfully meet client program milestones.Perform analysis procedures to quantitatively measure pharmaceutical compounds in a variety of formulations for stability testing and other studies for analytical testing supportCoordinate method development and validation projectsCommunicate effectively with internal and client stakeholdersThe ability to plan, schedule and carry out work for successful project completionProvides assistance and training to junior laboratory staff membersQualifications, Skills and experienceEducation to a Bachelors or higher level in Chemistry or a related subjectSubstantial work experience within a GMP laboratorySubstantial industry experience with Lab techniques relevant to Small Molecule analysis such as HPLC, GC and Dissolution.Detailed knowledge of method validation; method development would be an advantage.The ability to plan, schedule and carry out work for successful project completionA positive attitude and ability to work well with othersThe ability to write protocols and reports with minimum supervisionExcellent attention to detailBe able to communicate effectively and follow detailed written and verbal instructionThe successful candidate can look forward to joining a leading CRO that has experienced year-on-year growth.
