Title Laboratory Technician/Graduate Chemist x 2

Location West Yorkshire Salary £16,000 - £17,000

SRG are working exclusively with a growing company who research and manufacture a range of water based anti-oxidants, dispersions and emulsifiers used within the polymer industry. As a result of their continued success they have invested in new laboratories and are looking to hire two new people for their busy QC laboratory. As a laboratory technician you will be involved in quality control, sample systems and basic product development. The role is entry level and would ideally be suited to a recent science graduate.

Benefits: Full training given, career progression potential and company bonus scheme. Working 08.30 - 5 Monday to Friday

Role / Description

Complete routine quality tests: pH, viscosity and particle size

Perform analysis on raw materials and end products

Identify improvements to products and systems used within the laboratory

Ensure that all work is conducted in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements

Collect samples provide relevant feedback

Data entry of results

Preparing paperwork

Any other ad hoc laboratory tasks to support the team of 6

Requirements

Degree in Chemistry

Excellent attention to detail

Good organisation skills

Team worker

Able to work to deadlines
