Process Engineer - East Anglia - £35,000 - £50,000 per annum + BenefitsSRG are currently recruiting for a Process Engineer to join a well established manufacturer in East Anglia on a permanent basis at a salary of circa £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.Role Purpose To ensure that NPI programmes and Operational endeavours follow the Capability Improvement Plan set by the Mould Systems Manager and that they are compliant to company procedures and applicable external standards, regulations. Deliver best in class service capability of supporting the business needs establishing world class recognition for plastic injection moulding capabilities and skills.Key Accountabilities + To manage the delivery of all Process Engineering deliverables to time, cost and quality standards to ensure good performance in allocated Programmes and Operational product streams.+ Lead (Project Manage) the Capability Improvement Plan to achieve aspirational levels of best in class service capability and world class recognition for plastic injection moulding capabilities.+ To interface on areas of Injection Moulding specialism with all levels of the organisation, customers and suppliers.+ To review on regular basis the Process Engineering resources requirements within the NPI programmes and Operational work streams and verify that they are aligned with the approach agreed with the Mould Systems Manager.+ To report regularly to the Mould Systems Manager on activities in the allocated programmes to ensure alignment to approaches and performance.+ To lead, motivate and manage the Process Engineers in order to deliver in allocated product stream objectives.+ To lead, review and approve Process Engineering validation activities within the allocated work stream to for standardisation and quality optimisation.+ To lead, review and approve Process Engineering risk management activities within the allocated work streams to maintain minimise change impacts.+ Support internal and external (NPI supplier) audits with the Quality Engineering team.+ Peer approve Mould Systems validations ensuring they achieve OEE performance requirements.Knowledge, Skills & Attributes+ Experience in Plastic Injection Moulding Process Engineering experience that includes asset care, acquisition, and improvement related to plastic injection moulding machines, tooling, automation, and process infrastructure.+ Trained in Moldflow analysis software or similar tools used for 'design for manufacture'.+ Apprenticeship served or, relevant qualification (plastics processing and/or materials technology) with a demonstrable track record of completing formal training in plastics processing (BPTA, G&A or equivalent). HNC/HND/Degree level in an Engineering or relative experience.+ Capable of reading and monitoring data from mould cavity process monitoring curves to determine quality of process.+ Excellent knowledge of Scientific Injection Moulding disciplines with tool design and polymer science experience and knowledge.+ Experienced in viewing 2D and 3D CAD formats.+ Strong experience in Validation (Process or Product) and Risk Management Process, including the application of Project Management principles.+ Data driven approach to problem solving using analytical tools, including RCA.+ Applied knowledge of statistical tools, including Design of experiments, R&R and+ Six Sigma tool kit practitioner.+ Excellent communication (with all levels of the company, internal and external) and inter-personal skills, to enable the job holder to motivate colleagues, support other areas and influence at a senior level.+ Proficient user of SAP and understanding of Bespak Quality System regarding validation procedures and change control.For more information, please call Laith Mustafa on 0161 868 2231 or email
