Our client who has taken the market by storm in their product area and is now looking for someone to build a new Procurement function across multisites.

The client already has procurement professionals in place but lacks a robust, managed procurement process. The role, based out of Liverpool with ocassional trips to an additional European site, will allow you to create a new Procurement Management system which will then be rolled out across the group, with training and assistance given throughout the process by the successful incumbant.

You will own the process, including reporting on spend by sector / category assisting in any cost saving excercises through redefined supplier base, and taking responsibility for creating a definitive procurement process by which all staff are held accountable.

You will most likely have managed or redefined a process before in a small-to-medium sized company and have the ability to engage with key stakeholders, understanding their procurement needs and issues and generating a system fit for purpose, understood by the users and capable of generating reports on efficacy and traceability.

Typically, the role would suit someone with a background in purchasing/procurement/buying and have a CIPS qualification. However, as this is a new role the client is flexible on accomodating someone with the right Project Management experience if it falls outside of procurement but involves new-system roll outs.

Salary dependant on experience, circa £35-43k + bens

If you feel you have the right skills and experience for this role please apply online or call 0161 868 2220
