Quality and Regulatory Manager - West Midlands - £CompeteitveSRG are currently looking for a Quality and Regulatory Manager on behalf of a leading medical device manufacturer based in the West Midlands. Main purpose of role:To be responsible for the day to day management of the Quality and Regulatory department, specifically issues relating to Regulatory matters, quality, supplier performance and customer complaintsKey tasksThe job holder will be responsible for undertaking the following tasks:* Management of all the work related to the organization and functioning of the Quality System for compliance with current requirements of the Medical device Directive and ISO 13485/9001* Responsible for regulatory matters including Technical Files, Overseas registration, CE marking* Management and administration of Inspection Standards and Controls attributable to the Company's Products, Raw Materials and Components * Monitoring inspection failures, supplier performance, production scrap, and Customer complaints; establishing methods for determining the root causes of failures; and identifying the solutions and costs required to remedy these causes, implementing and notifying the outcomes to management colleagues* Preparation and communication of Quality KPIs. Liaison with corporate and external contacts with regards to quality issues* Administration and Calibration of internal & external inspection equipment* Allocation of tasks/projects so that each member of the team has clear objectives within clear defined timeframes Qualifications, skills and desirable experience Ideally degree qualified with Medical/Pharmacology/Engineering experience, gained within a low to medium volume manufacturing environment Ideally have a background of 4+ Years in Quality/Regulatory Role Preferably trained within ISO13485 but if not strong 9001 knowledgePersonal attributes Team player Hands-on Leadership skills Self-motivated and managed Good understanding of products and processes Planning skills
