Maintenance Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / Production Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Support Engineer / Multi-skilled EngineerWitney, OxfordWorking for a world leading medical device company, and developer of cutting edge healthcare products, this is a new vacancy in their manufacturing division. The business has grown impressively due to their excellent products and their focus on continuous improvement, quality and manufacturing efficiencies. They offer excellent salaries with a shift allowance on top as well as an impressive package including pension, private healthcare, share ownership and more.

Ultimately, this is a shift based role (4 on, 4 off, rotating date and nights) which supports manufacturing with machinery maintenance support for the process equipment and manufacturing facility. You'll perform PPM works, breakdown support, equipment improvements and repairs on a variety of specialist and more general equipment, including PLC controlled and automated manufacturing machines. You will be expected to facilitate and contribute to continuous improvement projects.

The successful candidate will have experience of performing maintenance engineering with in a high quality manufacturing environment, with a supporting qualification (apprenticeship or higher). You will be able to discuss your experience fluently and demonstrate prior successes, as well as the ability to manage your workload and work independently for the good of the engineering team. This is a highly regulated industry so following documentation and keeping records is also essential.

It will be considered advantageous to come from an Electrical Engineering background, though genuinely multi-skilled engineers who can demonstrate (either through experience or through qualifications) electrical capability are also thought of favourably!
