Permanent E&I Project Engineer - Chemicals/Food/Pharma -Runcorn / Manchester / Liverpool - £50k

My client is a leading blue chip organisation based in the North West who are looking for an experienced electrical engineer to join their project team on a permanent basis. They are looking for a degree qualified engineer who is experienced in projects from design through to commissioning in highly regulated environments.   • Managing all aspects of projects relating to the design through to commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems within a highly regulated environment such as COMAH, ATEX or GMP.
  • Being the site Subject matter expert and senior authorised person around all things relating to electrical & instrumentation engineering
  • Liaising with other areas of the business around quality and HSE issues
  • Management of contract staff as required for each project
  • Closely monitor and manage all aspects of projects including but not limited to - suppliers, timescales, financials


  • Degree qualified in electrical, instrumentation or controls related subject
  • Experienced working in a highly regulated environment
  • Experienced working with autonomy and managing projects
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical and instrumentation engineering
  • Proven ability to work in a cross functional team and communicate at multiple stakeholder levels
