Our support of industry research and development ensures you can have the opportunity to drive innovation and improve patient lives worldwide.Job Brief* Responsible for accuracy of product data within the ERP system including but not limited to routes, structures, labels and documentation* Responsible for checking, monitoring and approving production control data. Data will include routes and structures as amongst others.* Co-ordination with R&D and Planning for the creation and reflection of complicated production processes within the ERP system.* Understand the Production Control Metrics and be able to interpret, analyse and challenge the data accordingly.* Understand the Scientific methods employed behind production processes* Keep abreast of current Scientific Manufacturing methods used within the immunodiagnostic and biotechnology industries.* A detailed knowledge of BOM's/Structures is required. Understanding the consequences of maintain data integrity to ensure that all levels of the BOM/Structure are accurate.* A detailed knowledge of Routings and the associated parameters that are required in the construction of routings.* A detailed knowledge of the company's Manufacturing processes and quality requirements for these processes* Monitor Production costs for particular processes, highlighting and implementing efficiency & quality improvements.* Identify and manage specific Bottlenecks within the production control workflow.* Provide management reports on Production parts and the appropriate metrics, improvement and costing data.* Escalate any contentious issues to management.Knowledge and Skills* A-Level Maths, English and Science.* Previous experience of ERP systems or similar computer systems.* Experience within Scientific manufacturing industry.* Excellent IT skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.* Excellent communication skills.* Excellent organization skills.* To be proactive.* Hard working and enthusiastic with the willingness to learn* Excellent time management skills.* The ability to follow set policies and procedures.* To be flexible to the needs of the business.Desirable requirements* Previous experience of working in a Medical Devices company.* Previous experience of IFS.* Degree level qualification in a Science related fieldIf interested please submit an updated CV or call 0161 868 2236 for more information.
