Complaints & Vigilance Engineer - Medical Devices - LondonSRG are currently recruiting for a Complaints & Vigilance Engineer to join a Global Medical Device company in the London area on a permanent basis, at a competitive salary and benefits package, depending on experience.Reporting to the Complaints & Vigilance Manager, you will be responsible for conducting documented failure investigations on customer complaints leading to the identification of root cause and corrective and preventive actions. You will ensure timely closure of complaints to comply with regulatory requirements and perform trend analysis and identify negative trends to target for improvement. You will also be providing support to new product development and risk management process, including FMEA and reliability testing.Qualifications, skills and desirable experience Educated to degree level or equivalent Experience in medical device complaint handling  Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and carrying out product evaluations and complaint investigations is required Experienced in Vigilance (MDV and MDR) reporting is required Understanding and working knowledge of the Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC, ISO 13485, FDA 21 QSR's and ISO17971. Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of SIW staff, clinicians and other external customers, Notified Bodies and Competent Authorities. Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills are required Ability to use initiative and work with minimum supervision is required Experience conducting Internal Audits is desirable Familiarity with medical terminology is desirable For more information, please call Laith Mustafa on 0161 868 2231 or email
