Microbiologist / QC Microbiology - London£25,000 - £30,000 + Excellent Benefits Do you have experience of working within Microbiology QC testing?Would you like to work for a leading pharmaceutical/healthcare organisation? Reporting to the Microbiology Manager, you will take a key role within the product development and product quality division. You will be involved in product testing, stability testing, quality control, environmental monitoring, cleaning validation and other activities to support the sterile development and production of healthcare products. Testing will cover raw materials, in process samples and finished products.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced microbiologist to work in a diverse and interesting role, working in a number of areas within the business. You will be given the opportunity to have input into the smooth running of the laboratory, ensuring laboratory documentation is completed accurately and in a timely fashion and ensuring the analysis is completed within specified time frames supporting product formulation and development. To be considered for this position, you must have experience in microbiology from a regulated Pharmaceutical environment (GMP / GLP), with a good understanding of Product QC testing and environmental monitoring. You must also have proven experience of techniques such as LAL testing, endotoxin testing, sterility testing, plate counts and other basic micro techniques. Experience of working with assays / test kits for microbial detection / identification would be a distinct advantage.Excellent communication, team-working and organisation skills are essential.
