Analytical Scientist - Pharmaceutical Development

Location: Macclesfield, Cheshire

Employment Type: Temporary, 12 month contract

Rate: £15 per hour (circa £28,000 per annum equivalent)

SRG are currently working with a market-leading Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology organisation who are actively seeking two experienced Analytical Scientists to join their team in Macclesfield, Cheshire.

As part of the Pharmaceutical Technology & Development team, you will utilise a range of analytical techniques to support the development of the latest innovative medicines and their transition into commercial manufacturing.

This a fantastic opportunity for an established Analytical Chemist to use a wide variety of analytical equipment including HPLC, UPLC, GC, Mass Spectrometry, NMR, Ion Chromatography, Titrations, ICP and FTIR within a truly global organisation.

Key requirements:

- Degree qualified in Chemistry or a related Scientific field

- Prior industrial experience working within a GMP regulated environment

- Extensive hands-on experience using analytical tools, in particular chromatography (HPLC, UPLC or GC)

- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written including report writing.

- High attention to detail and organisational abilities.
