SRG are seeking an experienced Contract Project Planner to work within a Projects Team on a large top tier process manufacturing facility based in Bradford. The contract is an initial 6 month placement but with the possibility to extend. The role covers a broad range of projects including mechanical, electrical and chemical disciplines work.

The successful candidate will have experience of:*Taking full accountability for Front End Planning for the engineering phase of project's.*Providing a joined up approach to planning for each project, including front end engineering, design, construction, commissioning, completions and close out.*Providing Strategic direction from the Project Lead(s)/Manager(s)*Essential - Experience of Microsoft Projects

Responsibilities:*The management and control of the front end planning function using Microsoft Projects*Identification and communication of Risks to the project schedule.*Ensure all projects they are allocated are correctly maintained, updated, archived.*Utilise a front end standard network for Capex and Remediation projects.*Work as part of an integrated planning team, sharing workload across the portfolio of projects.

Education and Experience:

An experienced Project Planner with a minimum of 10 years' experience preferably within the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.

HND / HNC in engineering discipline considered.

Experience of Microsoft Projects.

Effectively communicate and where appropriate influence the Project Team and contract personnel.

Brownfield project experience mandatory, in particular multiple small project delivery.
