The role:Responsible for handling regulatory matters primarily covering UK and emerging markets, and supporting other countries as required. Managing, maintaining and preparing registrations/notifications to ensure product compliance over various categories including herbal, homeopathic, food, food supplement and cosmetics. Major Duties and Responsibilities:* Overseeing collation of data and preparation of dossiers for submission to Regulatory Authorities Co-ordination of follow-up with Regulatory Authorities so that MA's are received in a timely fashion.* Maintain existing MAs (variation, renewals, PSURs) & update safety information.* Maintain and renew manufacturing site licenses and authorisations with regulatory bodies.* Artwork review and provision of regulatory advice for marketing, and sales functions of International Zones, including: approval of product labelling and approval of advertising and promotional material in accordance with the medicines legislation and best code of practice.* Work with Marketing, R&D & Supply Chain colleagues to ensure that company projects are defined and scoped to take account of regulatory requirements and opportunities.* Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the relevant regulations affecting the natural healthcare arena and update the Regulatory team on new developments.* Participate in New Product Development projects, providing regulatory advice; ensuring that introduction of new products is in accordance with regulations. Ensure regulatory timings and costs are communicated clearlyRequirements/Qualifications:* Degree level qualification.* Significant experience of working in a Regulatory role within either OTC consumer healthcare, natural healthcare, food supplement or food industry. * Experience in working with Regulatory Authorities on product registrations, submissions and notifications.* Supports commercial targets while maintaining focus on consumer/patient safety and regulatory compliance.* Able to drive improvement and simplify existing working practices.If you are interested in this role or would like to have a confidential career discussion regarding other Regulatory Opportunities.
