Are you a Mechanical Engineering graduate with a passion for Project Engineering? An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Project Engineer to join a team in Huddersfield.
About the organisation:
You will be working for a leading FMCG / Pharmaceutical organisation. They offer a broad portfolio of healthcare products and medical devices. You will be joining at an important time for the business, as they implement plans of growth and development during 2018 and beyond. The company is international with sites all across the UK.
You will be rewarded with an annual salary of between £21,000-£26,000 (dependent on experience) flexible working hours, above statutory pension, 24 days annual leave per year plus statutory holidays, and a cycle to work scheme is available
About the Job:
You will provide the delivery of turn-key process, packaging and civil engineering projects to further enhance the safety, quality, efficiency and capability of the production facility.
You will also assist with projects involving changes and upgrades to equipment, facility and systems and delivering them to a satisfactory and consistent standard.
You also need to be degree qualified (or equivalent) in a Mechanical Engineering biased subject.
* Knowledge of Packaging, production process, Steam generating boilers, air compressors, process chillers, HVAC* Experience in manufacturing and production and coordinating projects and capex approvals* Experience managing contractors and service engineers* Hands on experience in a similar role and industry from work experience or industry placement* Strong communicator, problem solving skills and an excellent work ethic
