The Associate Learning Partner is responsible for developing and delivering assigned learning interventions that address the areas of capability identified within the In-Field Excellence and Marketing Excellence strategies. The Associate Learning Partner will work in close partnership collaboration with the In-Field Partners to ensure that the design and delivery of these interventions is tailored to the unique context of each Business Unit and drives towards clearly defined business objectives.

The Associate Learning Partner will be expected to support the Learning Partners in building learner journeys and associated learning interventions that exploit current learning theory and best practice.

Key responsibilities

  • For assigned programmes, to create / tailor integrated and effective learner journeys and associated learning interventions to develop knowledge and capabilities identified in the Customer Excellence and Brand Plans.
  • Work closely with the In-Field Excellence Partners to ensure that delivery of learning interventions is tailored to the unique context of each Business Unit, and meets the requirements of the business in terms of quality, content and timelines.
  • Programme manage the delivery of assigned learning activities against agreed standards, organising the logistics, travel and scheduling, sourcing and producing materials, overseeing budgets, liaising with managers, delegates and other stakeholders, and conducting evaluation and reporting.
  • Host assigned learning events, keeping to time, running the AV equipment, introducing facilitators and speakers, managing delegates and dealing with any queries, administering tests and collating results from assessments.
  • Collect feedback on interventions delivered to drive continuous improvement.
  • To support the establishment of new technology solutions within the learning team as required.
  • To support the contracting and management of external vendors, ensuring compliance with all financial and compliance processes.
  • Execute assigned learning interventions to a high standard in an engaging and impactful way. Motivate and inspire learners through their engagement with the intervention.
  • Where required, identify and manage appropriate 3rd party vendors to develop or deliver elements of learning content. Ensure good value for money is secured when out-sourcing.
  • Work with the In-Field Excellence Partners to understand and plan the development and delivery schedule for assigned learning interventions in line with business needs. Project manage workload against this schedule and proactively communicate progress against this plan.
  • Collaborate with HR as appropriate to sign-post / leverage wider learning resources such as leadership development, coaching capabilities, open curriculum and personal development interventions.
  • Work closely with the In-Field Excellence Partners and Learning Partners to facilitate the sharing of best practice across In-Field Teams and Business Units.
  • To comply with the company's policies and procedures to meet statutory, quality and business requirements within the overall strategy and objectives of our client Ltd.
  • To contribute to the continuous improvement of the Learning team systems, processes and professional standards by seeking out and bringing back best practice in learning

Qualifications & Competencies

  • The ability to build a 'Business Partner' relationship with internal stakeholders, providing constructive challenge to help raise the bar.
  • Educated to Diploma level, ideally with a professional qualification in Learning & Development
  • Good experience of working in a learning team having carried out an L&D coordinator or L&D officer level role.
  • Able to juggle competing demands and complex work streams delivering on time and on budget.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to build relationships with and influence senior staff internally and externally in a complex matrix environment
  • Well versed in the application of modern learning theories, tools and techniques including 70:20:10, mobile and social learning
  • Able to confidently present, facilitate and deliver learning content
  • A good understanding of learning theory, tools and methodologies including the principles of 70:20:10.
  • Ability to collect robust evidence to assess KPIs throughout any interventions. Ability to analyse the data to evaluate the impact of the intervention and to drive iterative improvement / builds based on the output.
  • Engaging and fun to work with, stimulate others with your enthusiasm, energy and can-do attitude.
  • Ability to align with organisational strategy and culture, including changes required to evolve to meet future business needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently comply with relevant internal policies and procedures.
  • Strong organisation and project management skills.
  • Good facilitation and learning delivery skills.

Additional Requirements

This is an office-based role. Some travel may be required to deliver learning interventions (estimated to be up to 20% on average).
