Commercial Manager - Medical Devices - West Midlands - £30,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.SRG are currently recruiting for a Commercial Manager to join an established Medical Device manufacturer in the West Midlands on a permanent basis at a salary range of £30,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.Reporting to the Managing Director, the Commercial Manager will hold responsibility for ensuring that all functions and also with critical suppliers, retain focus on matching or exceeding our customers' requirements. It is probable that the Commercial Manager will have line management responsibilities however this is dependent on experience.The role is expected to develop in 3 phases over the 1st year of employment. Initially it will be focussed on managing and improving the sales order process internally with the aim of improving On Time Delivery in Full (OTIF) performance and overall customer satisfaction. The role will then expand to take on the further responsibility of account management of all customers to ensure their delight and retention also with the aim for increasing sales from these customers. Finally the role will also be responsible for supporting the Managing Director with the target of identifying, enticing and securing new customers for the company's exciting range of products.This role would suit someone with a technical background who is looking to develop their career by moving in to a commercial role. Some commercial experience may be beneficial but is not essential.Key skills / abilities+ Enthusiasm, and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customers are satisfied and sales targets are met+ Technical background in a related discipline such as chemistry, polymer chemistry, microbiology etc.+ Previous industrial experience, preferably in a medical device organisation+ Ability to develop and uphold good working relationship and influence people both internally and externally to achieve assigned objectives.+ Able to work with minimum supervision and as part of a team.+ Strong communication skills, flexible attitude and capable of working to tight deadlines under pressure+ Awareness of medical device regulations, The Medical Device Directive, ISO13485, FDA QSR 21 CFR 820 etc.+ Experience in marketing and / or marketing communications is desirable but not essential+ Ability and willingness to travel to meet customers / attend international scientific or trade conferencesFor more information, please call Laith Mustafa on 0161 868 2231 or email
