Process Support TechnicianLocation: Speke, LiverpoolAssignment Length: 11 monthsSRG have a fantastic opportunity to join a global biologics company on a seasonal basis. Our client's site in Speke is the global centre of excellence for the production of Influenza vaccines. Through innovation, collaboration and ongoing investment the site in Speke has the facilities to research, develop, produce and distribute up to 20 million vaccine doses each year for the global market.As a Process Support Technician you will be supporting the Engineering and Facilities function with the seasonal manufacturing of pharmaceutical products; working on specific tasks associated with the effective operation, basic maintenance and faulting finding activities of a waste processing plant for an expanding biotech manufacturing facility.Main role responsibilities:* Effective operation of the semi-automated waste processing plant within the UK1 facility.* Performing basic maintenance and fault finding on the processing plant to ensure plant availability and reliability. * Supporting the Engineering Maintenance Technicians with maintenance activities. Key requirements:* Formal semi-skilled engineering / process training, and minimum of a GSCE academic qualification with the equivalent industry experience.* Previous experience working with and semi-automated control systems and supporting utilities, including plant steam and compressed air, working to safe working methods and associated risk assessments.* Proven working semi-skilled knowledge and have working experience of performing basic maintenance activities of processing plant and equipment.* A professional approach when dealing with others, with good communications skills.* Communication will be both written and verbal and a high degree of accuracy and good interpersonal skills.* Available to start on 3rd September 2018 and for the full 11 month assignment
