Provision of technical expertise for internal and external FIM customers

Conduct studies and create improvement plans

Investigation and resolution of customer complaints and technical enquires

Technical support and evaluation for new projects

Conduct feasibility studies for new products and versions of products and processes

Job Content.

Ensure that Company ISO, health, safety and environmental policies are fully implemented in all work

Apply critical science appropriately to achieve required goals

Understand key technical abilities and resources available to evaluate the performance of new products and existing products for new requirements.

Research, Plan and Carry out formulation work in support of technical investigations and feasibility studies for new products and processes or modification of existing products and processes

Offer technical advice on customer processes in support of development for new products.

Provide support to both internal and external customers for technical issues regarding FIM products.

Independently plan and run customer trials for process improvement or product introduction with new and existing customers worldwide

Independently plan and conduct XMAPP studies of new and existing customer processes worldwide

Specify, requisition and commission new test equipment

Responsible for ensuring continued maintenance and calibration of equipment.

Creation and review of AWPs and all relevant ancillary documents

Investigating and implement new test procedures and methods on new and existing equipment.

Creation and review of product specifications through investigation of historic standard testing regimes, current automotive specifications and methods and other customer specific requirements, with understanding of ability to test in-house and needs for external testing.

Training of other personnel in the correct usage of equipment and related test methods

Conduct internal environmental audits following ISO 14001

Signing on internal and external contractors when work is required within R&D

Relevant SAP and SFOL usage
