The role:Managing the Lawn and Garden approval applications within regulatory guidelines. This individual will plan, achieve, maintain and defend approvals for Lawn and garden products in the UK, Ireland and Nordic countries (DK, NO; FI, SE). They will support the CP team in the Central EU Commercial Unit (PL, CZ, SK, and Baltics) for L&G projects. Thus enabling marketing to meet their objectives in compliance with the relevant EU and country statutory requirements.Major Duties and Responsibilities:* Be fully conversant with data requirements for pesticide approval in the UK, Ireland and Europe. Specific knowledge of Nordic and Central EU country regulatory requirements would be of additional value. * Be fully conversant with all regulations which have an impact on pesticides and biocides.* Understand key agronomic and commercial issues.* Be able to review and concisely summarise scientific data.* Demonstrate Leadership and Management Skills.* Be able to work in close relationship (despite remote location) with business and marketing and challenge them as appropriate.* Provide regulatory expertise and foresight to the business. Keep regulatory and business informed on regulatory changes and emerging issues which require proactive management.Experience & skills:

* Educated to a relevant Degree level.* Good report writing experience.* Practical expertise in Registration Activities.* Strong experience in Regulatory Affairs, preferably involving pesticides and/or biocides.* Experience on new technologies / biostimulants would be appreciated* Demonstrated strengths in communication, self-organization and problem solving and developed negotiation/influencing skills across different cultures;* A BASIS qualification.
