MAINTENANCE ENGINEER - MEDICAL DEVICES - PERMANENT (NO SHIFTS) - BIRMINGHAM - £COMP

SRG are working with a very well respected and successful Medical Device organisation who are looking for a permanent and skilled maintenance engineer to join their team. This position is part of a newly formed team under 12 months old and will be based across all areas of the facility with various lines and equipment. There will be various pieces of electro-mechanical kit to maintain and so an experienced engineer is required.

Moving forward there will be opportunities for progression and continued support.

Role Responsibilities;* Operating, maintaining, carrying out the changeover processes and fault finding on the all the equipment, ensuring that all relevant documentation is completed * To set up and shut down all equipment to support the daily production plan, in line with cGMP requirements.* To perform all change over tasks in a timely manner to reduce the downtime between batch changes* To perform all in-line process checks on the equipment and batches * Perform all appropriate Preventative Maintenance activities* Perform with external assistance if required electrical installations, repairs, improvements and fault finding* To perform all first line fault finding on equipment when issues arise, ensuring manufacturing can resume compliantly and in a timely manner* Provide assistance to any Project Team on implementing changes to equipment* Conduct any necessary validation/engineering activities supporting improvements

Required Knowledge and Skills;* Engineering qualification - ONC, NVQ 3 or equivalent * Previous experience of working in a Quality System Environment - preferably within IVD medical Devices or similar.* Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic maintenance.* Machine installation, fault-finding and repair
