SRG - Front Line Engineering Manager (Utilities) - Basingstoke - Manufacturing

SRG are working with a world leading manufacturer who are looking an experienced Front Line Engineering Manager (FLEM). This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a background in; utilities/power house or effluent treatment plants and also someone who has qualifications in; Confined Space Management, Legionella, Pressure Systems and BOAS Boiler Manager training.

Job Purpose: You will be managing the engineering for Effluent Treatment Plant and Combined Heat Power as well as the operations for the CHP. They will also be the responsible person for Confined Space Management, Legionella, Pressure Systems and BOAS Boiler Manager training on site.

Key Responsibilities* To lead and facilitate Asset Care within the area, driving and supporting AM (Autonomous Maintenance), PM (Professional Maintenance), FI(Focussed Improvement) and EEM (Early Equipment Management)* Work closely with Reliability to support the drive towards increased predictive and preventative maintenance practices* Make decisions that are in line with departmental and mill objectives and show flexibility to support other areas* Responsible for the delivery of extraordinary maintenance* Identify, justify and undertake and/or manage projects designed to improve methods, productivity and efficiency as and when required. * Assist in the preparation of the annual departmental operating and capital budgets and undertake regular reviews to ensure that costs are maintained within budget and all necessary purchasing procedures are followed* Represent the site in managing and reducing the energy required to produce a quality product* Develop a preventative and predictive maintenance culture, implementing best practice maintenance regimes

Qualifications and Experience* Previous experience of steam generation and or pressure vessels is essential* Previous experience of Carbon reduction legislation is an advantage* Problem-solving experience, i.e. qualifications equivalent to 6-Sigma yellow belt level* Previous man-management experience and the ability to demonstrate effective performance management* Experience and qualifications in Confined Space Management, Legionella, Pressure Systems and BOAS Boiler Manager training
