My client is a leading manufacturer of quality polymers for a variety of customers ranging from start-up distributors to large multinational organisations. Their polymers can be found in dental and biomedical products, civil & military aircraft, submarine cockpits, paints, lubricants & mobile phones.
They are now seeking to hire a Process Chemist to join their team based in Lancashire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to begin a career within the polymer industry as full training can be given.

Role / Description
This position will be responsible for the production of speciality polymers through the day to day operation of reactors. This will involve:
- Controlling all aspects of the production process
- Monitoring & Processing scrap materials
- Cleaning & Maintenance of Reactors
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Chemistry, Material Science or a related field.
- Knowledge or experience of polymer chemistry would be desirable but not essential.
- Comfortable in a fast moving manufacturing environment under own initiative
(This position will involve Physical work requiring the successful candidate to manipulate materials of up to around 20Kg in an industrial environment.)
08:00 - 17:00 / Monday - Friday
(This position will require the flexibility to work overtime when required)
