Job ResponsibilitiesTo provide production line support in line with company goals and objectivesHealth and Safety awareness will be amongst your main priorities, and Health and Safety guidelines should be actively adhered to and promotedSupport, maintain and develop the delivery of finished products in line with cost, quality and production schedule requirements.Improve the overall reliability and performance of plant, personnel and production equipment and processes.Effective shift handover and maintenance activity reportingAnalysing data to fault find and develop prioritised improvement plans for the platform.Document and training using our SOP's and training processes. Training and mentoring staff in an approachable and constructive mannerGather & share best practice.Knowledge & SkillsTechnical production supportEnsuring production targets are met, optimise output & minimise defectsElectrical, mechanical, pneumatic, PLC fault findingPreventative maintenanceEquipment breakdown repairsEstablishing process conditionsIn-line quality checksSPCExperience of automated assembly production linesExperience of ABB robots (preferred)Strong problem-solving skillsAbility to work with staff at differing levels of the organisation.Ability to assess and upgrade procedures and systems.Strong communication skillsA team player.Versatile and a self-starter able to work without supervision.First AiderFollowing the successful completion of the probation period additional training will be provided on ABB Robot IRC5 basic, Omron Vision System and Sysmac Basic.Qualifications & ExperienceElectrical Qualified, NVQ3, C&GMechanical aptitudeExperience of PLC equipment and fault findingPositive - Can do AttitudeContinuous Improvement experience is desirableRobotic experience is desirable
