Research Technician - ELISA

3 month Contract Initially (may extend)

£30,000 - £33,500 (pro-rata).

My client is a leading international research facility in London, they employ leading scientists from around the world working in a broad range of research areas in state of the art laboratories. The Immunotherapeutics Research department provides an excellent experimental and post mortem diagnostic service, supporting research into a range of Immunotherapeutic treatments.

The laboratory is equipped with modern and custom designed ELISA instrumentation, FACS and other Flow Cytometry, enabling them to analyse experimental and human specimens. The Research Technician will be responsible for providing specialist technical analysis, delivering a high quality service under the Immunotherapeutics Manager.

To be considered for this role you will need extensive experience in running precise ELISAs on blood or clinical samples, or similar for trace analysis. This should be backed up by knowledge of FACS and Flow Cytometry, as applied to Primary Culture samples.

Ideally you'll have worked in a clinical, Cat2 or Cat3 laboratory, working to strict operating procedures and standards. Experience of sample extraction and preparation from primary culture is prefered.
