SRG - Field Service Engineer - Agilent (Medical Devices) - UK Wide role but mainly territory based - Permanent - £Comp with Benefits Including; Car, Laptop, Phone and others.SRG are working with a well-known business who work closely with mass spectrometers. The business in question is looking for an experienced Field Service engineers to join their team on a permanent basis. The site is based in the Cheshire area although this role will be UK wide and revolve mainly aroudn your chosen territory.This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience of at least 1 year working with mass spectrometers and chromatography, who is wanting to be in a customer focused service role. The Service Engineer will be responsible for the service, repair, and troubleshooting of Agilent instrumentation in a stated geographical territory. Equipment covered would be Agilent GC and GCMS systems and associated peripherals, GC and Single quad experience essential, triple quad experience desirable, but not essential. This would include travel to customer sites to deliver service, troubleshooting and repair of instrumentation.Main Responsibilities;* To deliver routine planned maintenance, qualification services and breakdown support at customer sites* To refurbish and validate equipment for the refurbished instrument program* Perform onsite duties including, service, validation, repair, accurately and in a timely fashion.* Complete and submit all paperwork to the admin team.* Give remote support via phone and email to customers where requested.Qualifications Required;* A degree or equivalent in a Science discipline or equivalent experience/qualifications* Full UK driving licence.Required Experience ;* Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography experience essential.* 1-2 years' experience in the service, repair and troubleshooting of above systems.* Prepared to travel throughout the UK - but mainly territory based.
