About the Job:
As an electrical engineer you will be required to perform a wide range of activities associated with the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and/or calibration of equipment, systems and facility.
This particular role will also require the Engineer to fulfil the requirements of the Authorised Person (Electrical) for all facilities, ensuring that policies and procedures for the design, installation, operation and maintenance of Electrical Equipment conform to all relevant UK Legislation.
The Authorised Person (Electrical) will also be required to assess, certify and authorise the work of competent persons and external contractors.
The job holder will also be expected to be part of an On-Call rota whereby they will be the initial point of contact for the resolution of any Engineering & Facilities Issues for 1 week in 5.
You will also be responsible for the following:
- Carry out planned and unplanned preventative maintenance on all site equipment in accordance with regulatory guidelines and company procedures.
- Ensuring that systems such as HVAC with HEPA filtration, steam boilers, LTHW boilers, compressed air systems and multiple water systems are maintained.
- To participate in special projects and validation activities within GMP and the Lab areas.
You will be an electrically biased engineer, with experience of working in a regulated industry / GMP environment.
- Experience in GMP and clean room facilities, HVAC etc
- Experience working with MHRA/FDA guidelines
- 17th edition trained
