Surgical Sales (Ophthalmology) - Advanced Technology ManagerMedical Devices 12 Month contract Field based Role - CoveringM25 area (Greater London, Home Counties)Rate: £25 pr. hr (PAYE) + bonusSRG are urgently looking for a Consultant with a strong background in both sales and Ophthalmology products. You would be responsible for achieving a sales plan in targeted accounts by working directly with cataract and or refractive surgeons and staff in the clinical office and theatre environment in order to expand the use of advanced technology product lines through consultative practice development activities. Accountabilities:* Champion and develop accelerated consumption of and advocacy for the company's advanced technologies.* Effectively communicate the concept of practice development to new and existing customers.* Evaluate practices' needs regarding staff training, internal and external marketing programs, patient flow, and staff incentives to maximise conversions.* Analyse account conversion, make recommendations and implement changes to ensure practice success and increase conversions to company's advanced technologies.* Routinely communicate activities to sales and marketing surgical counterparts.* Work with and maintain a professional and credible image with key physicians, advisors, and co-workersSkills and Experience:* Working knowledge of Ophthalmology with Phaco, IOLS, Cataract Refractive Surgery experience a distinct advantage (3+ years)* Holder of a current full driving license * Evidence of Strong Commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mind-set* Proven sales experience preferably in Medical Devices. * Communication Skills (oral, written and listening ability): Effectively and efficiently conveys clear, complete and focused information; interacts with people at all levels of authority; tailors messages to audiences and listen to the views of others; effectively presents topics/information to individual and group audiences * Organizational Skills: Prioritizes tasks efficiently and productively, and manages time well* Problem Solving: Takes a logical and analytical approach to solving problems; generates workable solutions and resolves issues/challenging situations; able to analyze systems and data and suggest appropriate solutions* Self-Motivation: Self-starter able to work independently and proactively on own initiative
