Role / Description: The department of marketing and communications consists of a team of eleven enthusiastic employees. The responsibility of the department is to ensure the promotion and communication of the company's ethos and benefits of science and technology to existing clients, as well as potential clients.
You will need to interact with colleagues of all levels, including scientific and technical colleagues and members of the marketing and communications team. The role includes producing and publishing scientific and technical documents - such as articles, newsletters and blogs which are appropriate for the aimed target audience.You will also need to be able to confidently proof-read and sense-check documentation before publication.Requirements
* A degree ( or equivalent) in a relevant scientific or technology field * Previous science or technology publishing experience (or alternatively a background in communications or journalism)* High level English writing skills* Ability to work accurately within a specific time frame* Ability to work in a small team * Good attention to detail in proof-reading and sense-checking* Ability to provide feedback to colleagues based on their written output* Must have own form of transport
