Title: Development Scientist x 3

Location: North West

Salary: Competitive with good benefits

SRG are currently working on behalf of a global, well established Medical Devices company within the North West who are looking for a Development Scientist. As a Development scientist you will have experience working across a wide portfolio of products within the companies sustaining engineering department. You will be reviewing all changes and processes implemented on the products manufactured across the site, you will ensure that all changes meet set regulations.

As the Development Scientist, you will be responsible for the development of new and existing medical devices. Managing the technical element of product and process development, working within a cross functional team ensuring that all changes done by QC, R&D and Manufacturing meet set ISO and GMP regulations. You will perform project activates within the design control framework within accordance with various quality frameworks including but not limited to ISO 13485 & 21CFR820.

Responsibilities & duties;

  • Support with product and process development/improvement.
  • Provide solutions and answers around product design and development, ensuring that all changes meet specifications and regulations.
  • Lead projects across design and manufacturing.
  • Liaise with other business functions to effectively execute projects.

Key Requirements;

  • Be educated to BSc level within a Science/Engineering or Medical Devices related subject.
  • Experience working within the Medical Devices or similar regulatory standards.
  • Proven experience with product/process design.
  • Worked within a GMP/ISO regulated industry.
