Title: Animal Technician Location: North WestSalary: CompetitiveI'm excited to share this post with you as SRG have just partnered up with an expanding, cash heavy Research and Development organisation. We are currently looking for an Animal Technician to develop the organisation existing in-vivo models.

You will have the opportunity to build up on your current experience - gaining exposure to various parts of the business, working alongside study scientist giving you exposure to how in vivo studies are built and ran. You will be responsible for providing overall care of rodents, performing routine dosing, and implantation of tumours, monitor the growth and performing post mortem tissue/blood sampling.

Key requirements;

  • Hold a Home Office Licence.
  • Have experience working with rodents as a testing model.
  • Previously had experience performing subcutaneous, intra-peritoneal and intravenous injections.
  • Performed tumour implantation and have had experience in monitoring growth.
  • Good attention to detail able to record result accurately.
