Clean Room Technician (multiple positions)

Location: Saffron Walden (Essex)Salary: 18-22KType: Permanent

My client, based south of Cambridge, is a well-established Contract Manufacturing Organisation working on the research, development, and manufacture of Medical Devices. They have invested several million pounds on a high specification production clean room and are beginning a new wave of recruitment with the aim to almost double their team to meet the increasing output.

They are looking for someone with experience or keen to get practice working in the manufacturing of implantable medical devices which people rely on daily.

The main responsibilities of this role will be:

* To quality check incoming goods, prepare medical devices to WI/SOPs, document all steps and meet GMP requirements.* The documents will provide you with the instructions for electronic part test, solution preparation, monomer preparation, polymer setting, visual inspection, sputter coating and final QC of life changing technology.* Maintain and ensure the integrity of the clean room by meticulously following procedures for scrubbing in and gowning up.* Classical wet chemistry to be performed in the separate laboratory preparing solutions, performing weighting on 4 digit scales and good pipetting practice.* Contribute to the smooth running of the laboratory by fulfilling a variety of duties such as stock check, daily quality checks and workspace management.* Contribute to the management of the QMS by familiarising yourself with the relevant standards (ISO13485)
