Technical Services Supervisor (Cleanroom)StevenagePermanent / Full-timeCompetitive remuneration package
This is a newly created role based at one of Hertfordshire's premier new cleanroom facilities within a busy and exciting scientific hub. It is a hands-on role and revolves around the cleaning operations within the manufacturing centre. * Training, supervising and work scheduling of operational staff in the manufacturing centre to ensure that all activities adhere to GMP standards.* Monitoring and tracking of all GMP cleaning schedules.* Responsibility for the collection and transfer of waste.* Ordering, stock monitoring and maintenance and distribution of cleanroom consumables, within the Kanban system.* Support the Engineering team with the decontamination service.* Implementation of a self-monitoring plan for inspections (both internal and external).* Preparation for, and carrying-out of audits for the GMP areas* Daily recording and logging of cleaning information centrally.* Manage and oversee spills and clean-up operation within the cleanroom(s).* Write, review and maintain SOP's relating to the technical services operation, and ensure adherence amongst the team.
* Background working within a GMP environment - a cleanroom, biopharmaceutical or manufacturing setting is essential. * Demonstrable background of coaching, guiding or leading a team whilst acting as role model by "showing" and not just "telling".* Demonstrable experience of writing and critiquing GMP documents (Logbooks, CAPA's, SOP's, change controls etc).* Proven ability to take a constructive critical view on both own and others work, and suggest methods of improvement as well as implementing efficiently and with buy-in from team.* Has some knowledge about interacting with regulatory bodies, collaborators and stakeholders. * Motivated, practical, methodical and a lateral thinker.* Able to operate autonomously with excellent influencing and prioritising skills.* Good MS Office skills, able to work well with databases and LIMS.
