Process Engineering Lead - Medical Devices - CheshireSRG are currently recruiting for a Process Engineering Lead to join a well established Medical Device company in Cheshire on a permanent basis at a salary of circa £50,000 per annum + Benefits.The role will encompass day to day management of a team of Process / Process Validation Engineers to support both R&D projects and Operations optimisation and validation work. This role will be responsible for the optimal technical performance of the manufacturing process including maintaining optimal standard processes, delivering continuous improvement within the process and delivering process outputs in line with business objectives. The role will be part of the Operations team, reporting into the Engineering Manager.You will have experience in the following:* Experience in a process, industrial, or manufacturing engineering capacity.* Experience of managing/leading a team.* Knowledge and experience of plant and machine related health & safety / regulatory compliance requirements* Specific experience and knowledge of converting and/or packaging processes in the medical device industry* Lean manufacturing or six sigma experience * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software i.e. Word, Excel, Access, Outlook * Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.* Excellent leadership, influencing, analytical and communication skills* Ability to work with a team and autonomously* Decision making within framework of company, ISO and FDA standards* Experience in leading projects with regard to quality, time, cost and communication* Able to manage a contract, to manage the suppliers and support the negotiations* Ability to analyse business needs and make recommendations based on sound business knowledge and commercial acumen* Ability to respond flexibly to change and to work to tight deadlines If you are interested in applying for this position, and would like to see the full job description, please contact Laith Mustafa on 0161 868 2231 or email laith.mustafa@srg.co.uk
