Validation Engineer - Medical Device - Cambridge SRG are currently recruiting for a Validation Engineer to join a growing SME Medical Device company in Cambridge on a permanent basis at a competitive salary and benefits package, depending on experience. The role will be involved in the structural development and compliance of the validation department. As the company look to commercialise and manufacture, you will be responsible for validating/qualifying the systems used to develop and manufacture products and will lead the preparation and execution of protocols to demonstrate that manufacturing processes are carried out with consistent quality and results. Experience/Skills needed to fulfil the role* Validation experience preferred or related quality experience in a cGMP Device or Drug environment preferred. * Experience of working in a pharmaceutical or Medical Device manufacturing environment preferred. * Strong technical knowledge and experience with validation/qualification of pharmaceutical processes, equipment, utilities, facilities and/or computer systems as related to sterile products and medical devices.* Experience with validation of various product types such as liquid products preferred; solid dosage products and multi-component products an advantage.* Experience with leading validation deviation and change control procedures* Six Sigma certification or working knowledge of the principals * Knowledge of cleaning and sterilization of pharma equipment experience is an advantage.* Excellent attention to detail and working knowledge of ISO, EU and FDA Regulations/Guidance, and Good Manufacturing Practices is essential.* Bachelor Degree in Science , Biology, Chemistry or Engineering preferred.
