My client develop and manufacture enzymes from small to large scale and for a variety of industries. They are looking for someone to be the primary person who will manage global customer regulatory and product enquiries and complaints effectively thereby exceeding customers' expectations.

Key activities:

  • Investigate, respond to, and manage all global customer regulatory and product enquiries within target time
  • Responsible for managing the timely registration of all current and new product (import/export) permits for global shipments of orders
  • Supporting the submission of regulatory applications for new enzyme products
  • Learn, develop and maintain your regulatory and product food safety knowledge within the global regulatory environment
  • Completion of Customers' Regulatory, Quality & Food Safety questionnaires within target time
  • Take ownership of customer relations acting as the primary technical interface for customers to build and maintain positive, friendly and professional relationships
  • Manage and drive the customer complaints process through to successful resolution for the customer within target time
  • Contribute and provide support to improve Regulatory document processes
  • Provide Regulatory support to all stakeholders and contribute to strategic decisions requiring regulatory input to minimise risks
  • Management of the Approved Countries' register
  • Co-ordination of lab work requests
  • Develop and maintain knowledge Product Safety, HACCP and the global regulatory environment
  • Collating relevant KPI metrics
  • To ensure all customer communications are recorded accurately on the CRM system

Person Spec:

  • Degree in Science, Regulatory Affairs or equivalent would be highly desirable
  • Customer Service or Business Administration qualification
  • Ability to demonstrate a passionate approach to ensure customer service excellence
  • Ability to build successful relationships with customers
  • CRM or Database knowledge and MS Office experience
  • A general appreciation of technical aspects of product compliance (regulatory, quality and food safety) within Biotech/Biosciences/Pharma
  • Customer Service skills
