This is an exciting opportunity for a scientist to working within the Manufacturing Support Department of one of the world's leading specialised medical diagnostic companies. You will be heavily involved with the design of and performing laboratory experiments, in order to assist with the development and improvement of antibody/protein reagents and analytical systems.
Duties and responsibilities include:* Designing and testing novel reagents and protocols.* To validate new procedures and raw material before transfer to manufacturing and testing departments.* To perform different scientific calculations (e.g. molar and unit conversions, reaction kinetics, purity assessments).* To carry out design changes on existing products, tests and processes.* To record and document accurate experiment findings and records, and present findings to other members of staff in project and departmental meetings.
Requirements:* Degree in relevant scientific subject.* Experience of working with protein and biochemical analyses.* Previous laboratory experience.* Experience performing ELISA assays.Great opportunity to join an expanding company who are represented in over 100 countries.
